I am way too easy to hack
And my girlfriend is way cooler than me.
I shall have two soups for lunch.
In case you didn’t know, soup is my favorite food.
Alright So..
with my trip to Tennessee approaching, I decided to do something special for Laura. But it had to be cheesy as well. So I decided to make her eight mix cds, one for each week I’ll be gone. Each one has a theme as well. These themes include: her favorite songs, my favorite songs, songs that my band played live, love songs, best songs from the 80s and 90s, songs from her favorite show (How I Met Your Mother), and the last one was supposed to be a list of songs that reminded me of her, but it’s turned into something more. It’s became a soundtrack to our relationship. Songs that have come up at various moments in the (nearly) four months we’ve been together. I’m listening to it now and, frankly, tearing up a bit.
As I write this, she’s on her way over to see me for her lunch break.
She will no doubt see this post later today, and I hope she does.
